Jasmine the Carpet Python – Three months later with hatchlings

hatchlings from Jasmine's artificially incubated clutch of eggs

It’s time for the hatchlings!

It’s time to release Jasmine the Carpet Python from Chapel Hill’s hatchlings.
At the time the mother was relocated into nearby bushland. This is better for the snake as she can return to feeding herself. Her clutch is then incubated until the little ones hatch. Then we release them close to where they were originally found. We had 24 adorable little carpet python babies from this clutch!
