Our Snake Catcher holding six Common Tree Snakes

A look at the Common Tree Snake

Our snake catchers are often called to catch this species, and sometimes we will come away with multiple tree snakes from the same property like is pictured here. Particularly in the breeding season, several males can be found attempting to mate with a single female.

This species is non venomous and hunts lizards and frogs during the day. They can be green, yellow, blue or almost black, even within the Brisbane region.

If you come across these snakes or others at your home or business, check out our Snake Catcher Directory for someone nearby to assist!
